HEC Paris Scholarships
For many years, HEC Paris has been committed to enabling the most talented international students to pursue their studies at our business school. We offer two types of scholarships for international applicants: merit-based and need-based.
About Scholarships
All applicants admitted into the HEC Paris Masters programs will be automatically considered for our merit-based scholarships. All international applicants will also have an opportunity to fill out the form for our need-based scholarships.
Merit-Based Scholarships
The final decision of these scholarships is based on academic excellence, the overall strength of the application, the performance during the interview, and the candidate’s GMAT/GRE/TAGE-MAGE performance. All scholarships are awarded in a form of tuition fees reduction.
AVENIR Scholarship
Scholarship is in partnership with the French embassy in Spain.
Eligibility: All Spanish and French-Spanish candidates.
Programs: Only Master in Management.
Application process: Students need to apply via Campus France (click here for more information).
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: 5.000 euros.
The Equal Opportunity Scholarship
Eligibility: Non-French nationality candidates only (applicants with dual nationality, one of which is French, are not eligible). Candidates already studying in France are not eligible.
Programs: All programs.
Application process: Candidates have to submit the Needs-Based Scholarship Form in their Applicant Space.
The deadlines are as follows:
- For those applying to Round 1 – October 24th, 2025 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 2 – January 22nd, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 3 – March 16th, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 4 – April 29th, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
Amount: Up to 35% of the tuition fees

The Imagine Fellowship
The Imagine Fellowship supports future leaders from war-affected nations to embark on studies at HEC Paris. It aims to promote peace and tolerance, diversity, inclusion and harmony between communities. You can learn more about our Imagine Fellows here and we also invite you to follow them on LinkedIn!
Eligibility: Only students from countries or states that have been affected by war and/or armed conflict.
Programs: All programs.
Application process: Candidates have to submit the Need-Based Scholarship Form in their Applicant Space.
All scholarship forms completed after the deadline will not be considered. Please note that scholarship results and allocated amounts are final.
The deadlines are as follows:
- For those applying to Round 1 – October 24th, 2025 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 2 – January 22nd, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 3 – March 16th, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 4 – April 29th, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
Imagine Fellowship applicants must also submit a 350-word response touching on the two following prompts:
- What makes you an ambassador of Business & Peace?
- What initiatives would you implement on the HEC Paris campus linked to the issues around Business & Peace?
The short essay should be sent as a PDF to info-masters@hec.fr on the day the admissibility results are published for the round to which they applied.
Amount: Decided on an individual basis by the scholarship jury.

CMA-CGM Excellence Fund for Education
The CMA CGM Group, a world leader in shipping and logistics, and the HEC Foundation together offer a scholarship dedicated to supporting talented international and Lebanese students with limited financial means.
Eligibility:
- Lebanese or international students
- Completed most recent studies in their home country
- Relevant social criteria
Programs: All programs
Application process: Candidates have to submit the Need-Based Scholarship Form in their Applicant Space. All scholarship forms completed after the deadline will not be considered. Please note that scholarship results and allocated amounts are final. There are 2 additional essay questions on the form that are exclusively for CMA-CGM applicants.
The deadlines are as follows:
- For those applying to Round 1 – October 24th, 2025 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 2 – January 22nd, 2026 at 12pm (noon)
- For those applying to Round 3 – March 16th, 2026 at 12pm (noon)

The Garzouzi Foundation Scholarship for Master in Management
In 2018, Nicolas and Michèle Garzouzi wanted to commit, through their foundation, to support access to the HEC Paris Master in Management Program for Lebanese students with limited financial means.
Eligibility Criteria for M1 (first year):
- Be under the age of 25 on September 1st of the year of admission to HEC Paris.
- Be of Lebanese nationality (multinational candidates, of which one nationality is French, are not eligible).
- Have relevant social criteria.
- Have a clean criminal record (must be sent by email in PDF format to info-masters@hec.fr).
Eligibility criteria for continuation of the bursary in M2 (second year):
- Be a recipient of the bursary in M1.
- Be of Lebanese nationality (multinational candidates, of which one nationality is French, are not eligible).
- Have relevant social criteria.
- Have a clean criminal record.
- Have obtained a GPA of at least 3.5 in M1.
Amount: 15,000 Euros in M1 deducted from the tuition fees, and then, if the candidate maintains a GPA of at least 3.5 and the demand is validated by the Garzouzi Foundation, a second sum of 15,000 euros will be deducted from the tuition fees for the M2.

HEC Foundation Excellence Scholarship
HEC Foundation Excellence Scholarships have been made possible thanks to the considerable support from the community of alumni and businesses related to the HEC Paris Foundation.
Eligibility: All candidates with a non-French diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree).
Programs: All programs.
Application process: No application or additional documentation required. All admitted students will be considered automatically.
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: Up to 15.000 euros.
Stan Schwab Scholarship for Athletic and Academic Achievements
The Stan Schwab Scholarship is dedicated to supporting student-athletes in their pursuit of academic excellence while maintaining high-level athletic performance. It aims to recognize and assist students who demonstrate exceptional commitment both on the field and in the classroom, helping them balance the demands of competitive sports with their educational goals.

Eligibility: To be eligible students can be:
- On the list of high-level athletes
- On the list of national team athletes
- Athletes enrolled in approved training centers
- Professional athletes
- Athletes who compete at a very high national level in France or in their home country (for international students)
The scholarship is open to all student profiles, French or international, regardless of their admission pathway or program.
All sports are eligible (individual/team, able-bodied/parasport) provided they are governed by a professional federation.
Commitments of the Scholarship Recipient:
During the year the student benefits from the scholarship, they commit to:
- Maintaining a high-level sports activity
- Maintaining high-level academic performance
- Displaying exemplary extracurricular behavior
Programs: All programs.
Application process: The applicant must send the following documents to info-masters@hec.fr by the admissibility results publication:
- Their athletic achievements in the years prior to joining HEC Paris
- A photocopy of their sports license
- A short letter describing their athletic and academic project
- Optional: one or more letters of recommendation related to their sports practice
- Proof of income from their parents
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: 10 000 euros.
VOLKSWAGEN HEC Women in Leadership Scholarship
Eligibility: All German-speaking female students interested in automobile industry.
Programs: All programs.
Application process: Applicants must submit a 350-word motivation essay related to the automotive industry. An essay must be submitted in PDF format to info-masters@hec.fr.
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: up to 15.000 euros.
Women’s High Potential Scholarship
Women’s High Potential Scholarships have been made possible thanks to the considerable support from the community of alumni and businesses related to the HEC Paris Foundation.
Eligibility: All female candidates with a non-French diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree).
Programs: All programs.
Application process: No application or additional documentation required. All eligible students will be considered automatically.
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: Up to 15.000 euros
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship was established by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help French institutions of higher education attract top international students to their master’s and doctoral programs. Its purpose is to train future leaders from outside France in priority areas of study.
Eligibility:
- Non-French Candidates under 29 years of age (applicants with dual nationality, one of which is French, are not eligible).
- Candidates already studying in France, or who have already received another French government scholarship are not eligible.
- Candidates who have applied previously and been rejected are not eligible, even if their application is submitted by a different establishment or in another field of study.
Programs: All programs.
Amount: Monthly allowance of €1200. The scholarship also covers one international return ticket, social security and cultural activities. Tuition fees are not paid by the Eiffel program.
Application process: Only applicants from Round 1 are eligible to apply for the Eiffel scholarship. Applicants from later rounds will not be considered.
Students will be pre-selected by HEC Paris first and will be notified by mid-January regarding their application status.
Campus France will publish the results and contact the laureates directly in April 2026.

30% CLUB Scholarship
30% Club Scholarship has been made possible thanks to the partnership with the 30% Club.
Eligibility: All female candidates with a non-French diploma (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) in Round 2.
Programs: Only Master in Management.
Application process: No application or additional documentation required. All eligible students will be considered automatically.
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results from Round 2.
Amount: 15.000 euros.
The Lafayette Fellowship
Designed to support the next generation of young leaders with a strong interest in the transatlantic relationship, the Lafayette Fellowship offers funding for one year of master’s-level study in France. Open to both Francophone and non-Francophone candidates, the program partners with leading French academic institutions.
Eligibility:
- Applicants must be 27 years old or younger as of July 1, 2026.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. institution (completed between August 2023 and June 2026) with a GPA of no less than 3.7 on a 4.0 scale.
- Candidates must apply for admission to one of the French partner universities in addition to completing a Lafayette Fellowship application.
- The awarding of the scholarship is conditional upon admission to one of the partner institutions.
- Knowledge of French is not required for acceptance into the Lafayette program.
Programs: Master in Management only.
Amount: A monthly allowance of €1,500. The fellowship also covers one year of tuition at a partner French institution for eligible programs and a round-trip flight to and from France at the start and end of the program.
Application process: To be considered for the Fellowship, applicants must submit their application via the application platform no later than 11:59 PM ET on November 30, 2025.
The laureates of the Lafayette Fellowship will be announced in February 2026.
Future Leaders of Africa
The Future Leaders of Africa scholarship is awarded each year to 10 African students from English-speaking sub-Saharan Africa. This scholarship is aimed at talented students who are committed to contributing to the economic, social, and environmental transformation of the African continent. Selection is based on several criteria, including academic excellence, the quality of the application, and performance during the interview.
Eligibility: Applicants must be citizens of South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, or Uganda and possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree obtained outside of France.
Programs: All Master's programs and the MBA .
Application process: Applicants to the Future Leaders of Africa program must also submit a 350-word essay outlining their vision of the current challenges facing the African continent and their proposed solutions. The essays must be sent to info-masters@hec.fr
Results: Scholarship decisions are announced by email within 1 week after the publication of the admission results.
Amount: Up to 15.000 euros.
Need-based Scholarships
The application process is the same for all four scholarships.
Please Note: All bursaries allocated with be automatically suspended if any information communicated by the candidate is found to be false.
Publication of the results: Results from these scholarships are announced by email to all laureates within 1 week after admission results are published.
All scholarship forms completed after the deadline will not be considered. Please note that scholarship results and the amounts are final.
